What is paintball, and how does it work?

Paintball is an action-packed game where players use paintball markers to tag opponents with paint-filled pellets. The goal varies depending on the game mode, but it often involves eliminating opponents, capturing objectives, or surviving until the end of the match.

Is paintball safe?

Yes! Safety is our top priority. All players must wear protective gear, including a full-face mask, and follow our strict safety rules. Our referees are on-site to ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone.

What are the age requirements for playing paintball?

Players must be 10 years old and up to play standard paintball. We also offer Low Intensity Paintball for players 8 years old and up, using smaller, lower-impact paintballs.

Do I need a reservation to play?

Reservations are required for private groups and recommended for open play, especially on busy weekends. Walk-ons are welcome for open play, but availability is not guaranteed.

Private Group Questions

How many players do I need for a private group?

Private groups require a minimum of 10 players. Larger groups are welcome, and we offer special discounts for groups of 14 or more.

What is included in a private group package?

Our private group packages include:

  • A private referee
  • Rental equipment (paintball marker, mask, and air tank)
  • Paintballs (amount varies by package)
  • Reserved time on our outdoor fields

What happens if my group has fewer than 10 players?

If your group doesn’t meet the 10-player minimum, you can still play, but you’ll be charged for 10 players.

Do we need to pay a deposit?

Yes, a $100 deposit is required to reserve your group’s time slot.

Equipment & Clothing

What should I wear?

We recommend:

  • Long sleeves and long pants
  • Sturdy, closed-toe shoes (cleats or hiking shoes work great)
  • Gloves for extra hand protection

Can I bring my own paintballs?

No, all paintballs must be purchased from Splat Tag to ensure safety and field quality.

Can I bring my own equipment?

Yes! Players with their own gear can bring their own marker and mask. We allow compressed air only—no CO2 tanks. Players using their own equipment also receive a $5 discount.

Game & Play Questions

What happens if it rains?

Paintball is an all-weather sport! We play in light rain, but in severe weather (thunderstorms, heavy snow, extreme heat), we may delay or reschedule games for safety.

How long does a paintball session last?

Game times vary:

  • Private Groups: Play for up to 3 hours
  • Open Play: Sessions typically last 3-4 hours

Does paintball hurt?

Paintball hits feel like a quick sting, similar to a snap from a rubber band. It fades quickly, and wearing proper clothing helps minimize the impact.

Food & Amenities

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Yes, you can bring your own food, but alcohol is strictly prohibited. We also have snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Do you have picnic areas?

Yes, we have picnic tables available for groups to use before or after playing.

Booking & Policies

How do I book a game?

You can book your game by calling us or reserving online. A $100 deposit is required for private groups.

What is your cancellation policy?

Deposits are non-refundable, but we allow rescheduling with at least 24 hours’ notice.
